It is used for upper sthenia and lower asthenia, and accumulation of phlegm marked by asthmatic cough, shortness of breath, fullness and distress inthe chest and diaphragm, or lumbago, weakness of feet, flaccidity of limbs, or edema of limbs, and whitish and slippery or whitish greasy lingual fur, etc.

Keeping the inspired air going downwaed and resolving phlegm, warming the kidney improving inspiration by invigorating the kidney-Qi. Accumulation of phlegm due to adverse flow of Qi, cough with syndrome characterized by dyspnea, sensation of fullness in chest.
